As Primeiras Mãos (First Hands) is an exploration of moving thoughts from a scrollable screen to a tactile object. This book is a curated collection of Facebook posts by Marcos Cruz, a former journalist at Diário de Notícias, co-founder of the fanzines 'Vómito and Camaleão', and current copy editor at Casa da Música.

Marcos found on Facebook a way to write whatever he felt like, using the platform to clear his mind. In a world obsessed with personas, this project embraces the incoherent and the shifting. It is a visual interpretation of raw thoughts, finding beauty in the middle ground between intellectual rigor and unfiltered impulse.
